Sunday School Singers (Children’s Choir)
Grades preschool through 6th grade have music as a routine part of the Sunday School program and share the music they have learned with the congregation on the third Sunday of each month throughout the school year. HUMC takes a break during the summer months. The choir director is Glenda Green. Glenda is assited by Cindy Sheldon. Sunday School begins its season the second Sunday of September and ends the second Sunday of May. Classes begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 10:00 am each Sunday.
Choir is made up of ages confirmation age to adult. They practice every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. during the school year; with summers off. The choir meets again at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings in Wesley Chapel for warm up. Practice is set by the Choir Director, Bonnie Stewart.
Anthems are sung each Sunday during morning worship, with the exception of the 3rd Sunday of the month when the Children’s Choir performs.
Intergenerational choir presents "God Bless America". The final chorus is sung by the entire church. Hope you enjoy.
